Best French fries I’ve had in years, but I did ask for “extra crispy “, no complaints or static, just happy smiles. The Cook Out style dogs with jalapeños were out of this world, I have a new favorite, they are grilled jalapeños (from fresh not pickled)

Excellent, friendly staff. Visited for Lunch August 25, 2025. Had a food item that subpar, but the employees approached us and replaced it. We didn’t even have to mention it. This is superb customer care. It’s rare nowadays. This is a prime reason I love coming back too cookout (well, the great food and tasty cheer wine are top reasons too). Y’all keep up the great work!

Wow! This place has it all! Great service, amazing food and low prices! I wish I could remember the cashier’s name because she was great! She made the menu (which is huge!) very easy to figure it out. I got the 2 hotdog combo (only 7.69!!!!) came with cheesy bites which was sublime and fries that were perfect! (Wish they had the onion rings but were sold out) the sweet tea would make any southerner happy.

I went to Cook-Out after the Hardy concert at Dudy Noble on Sept 13th. When we arrived, the drive-through line was backed up past Wendy's and the inside line snaked around all the tables to the very back. My family and I expected to have a very long wait and likely have inaccurate food. We were pleasantly surprised!! Not only did the line move quickly; our food was accurate and delicious and the customer service was outstanding. I knew that the team behind the counter had already been working a while and would likely be there long after we left - but they served us with a smile and didn't seem bothered by the long lines outside and in. Thank you to the Starkville Cook-out staff for always being someone we can count on - even at late hours of the night!

First time visit. Great value for the $$$$. Need to like loud contemporary christian music if you're dining in. Good and service was fast. Hate to beg condiments....js

Shakes are very overpriced. Not that great in my opinion. Service is ok. The atmosphere isn't. No music. No TV. Nothing.

We used to really like visiting this place, especially if you wanted a quick bite to eat. But since it has been opened a while the business sure has gone down. The whole lobby was dirty from the front door to the floors, dirt grease grim & trash everywhere. I know this is in a college town but it could be kept up better. The food is ok, mostly deep fried everything. The serving size of everything is tiny. I got 2 sides & one of my sides was onion rings and I only got 4 tiny tiny rings. That will not satisfy hungry college students. The service was fast & friendly so that is a plus.
